Brief in brief

Botanical trends are on the rise as consumers seek more natural alternatives. Riding on this trend, the global team tasked us to create the first-ever shower foam from Caress, targeted to Genpop within the US.

What we did

We explored various expressions for consumer research and based on outstanding results developed the 2D packaging design across bars and body wash for three variants: White Orchid & Coconut Milk, Iris and Vanilla, Neroli and Green Tea. Each botanical illustration, unique to the variant, was individually hand drawn, painted with water colours and crafted to express the exotic floral fragrance.

The outcome

The result is a design that expresses floral botanicals and floral oils of local familiarity. The overall visual impression awakens your senses while the colour and textures hint to the airy foaming lather.

Launched in Q1 18’, paraben free, sulphate free Caress Botanicals Shower Foam has secured 8% of total Caress Body Wash turnover within just one year.
